KPRC celebrates its 75th anniversary today! The station went on the air 1/1/49 as KLEE TV and officially became KPRC(Kotton Port Rail Center) in 1950 when the station was purchased by the Hobby family, led by former Lt. Gov. William P. Hobby, Jr. Hobby sold to the Washington Post Company(now Graham Holdings Company) in 1994. Below are all the logos the station has worn since it went on the air.
