Zapin (or Jepin) Suara Siam is a traditional dance of the Tidung people from Tawau, believed to have originated around the early 1900s. Originally, it was accompanied by only two musical instruments and singing. However, in 2005, the Persatuan Tidong Tawau composed the song 'Jepin Suara Siam,' which introduced eight additional musical instruments, breathing new life into this dance.
