This is, once again, the song I wrote because I failed to finish writing the song I actually wanted to make. Tonally, it’s irritated again, but there’s also a bit of fear that slips in every once in a while—fear that no matter how much better of a songwriter I may become, I’ll never escape failure or inferior writing. I’m also embarrassed that this song is so hollow and shallow, but I feel like that’s been my struggle this whole week.
