I found these transparent blocks of these photos I shot of my beeswax sculptures from about a decade ago! I had them printed at a photo lab, and I really really wanted them to work. But at the time it didn’t feel like the right fit. I started by modeling the faces in ceramic clay, creating a silicone mold, casting them in beeswax, then lighting them with my spouse’s tiny bike light in a pitch dark room to shoot these photos.
