Why do we always flex out a brand new rebuilt full floater Rear End? This is why! There are two small dams or lips inside near the spindle of most full floating rear axles. These keep the bearings oiled. But they also can stop the oil from getting out to the hubs. In order to make sure the new bearings have fresh oil in them, we always lift up each side of the truck…how do we know this?…because we have seized a new wheel bearing with the diff full of oil on a brand new rebuild!
