Darwin’s Finches Lab: Exploring Natural Selection and Evolution in this interactive lab, students investigated how beak shape affects survival using tools that mimic finch beaks—needle nose, forceps, straws, small/medium/large pliers—to pick up different food sources such as nectar, insects, small seeds, medium seeds, and large nuts.
