On Sunday, Copper played her first game of the season and helped the Mercury with a 76-70 win over the Las Vegas Aces. The four-time All-Star finished the game with 11 points and two rebounds on a limited 17 minutes of action. Since she's coming off surgery, head coach Nate Tibbetts did not give her a longer time on the floor.
The Phoenix Mercury knocked off the Dallas Wings 93–80 on Wednesday night to push their record to 7–4 on the season, and knock the Wings to just 1–10. You'd have a hard time knowing the result after watching an official WNBA highlights package, though.
