It's been a long time coming that Michigan football had been hoping to get one of, if not its top targets in the fold via the transfer portal. And after weeks of waiting, the Wolverines officially got their guy.

Running back Justice Haynes, Alabama's third-leading rusher in 2024, has signed with Michigan, the school announced Friday.

The Michigan Wolverines have had major success in the transfer portal this year, adding nine transfer signees and ranking No. 4 on the On3 transfer portal index (which factors in both additions and departures).
