Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin shared seven wickets as India’s cricketers seized control on day two of the third test against New Zealand in Mumbai.

It was an underwhelming show from Ashwin, who picked just nine wickets in three Tests against New Zealand, averaging 41.22, his second-worst in a home contest

Ravichandran Ashwin lashed out at cricket fans and experts over their reaction to India's defeat against New Zealand in the three-match Test series. This was the first instance of India losing a Test series at home in 12 years.

This is the first time India suffered a whitewash in a series comprising three or more Tests at home, having gone unbeaten on their own turn for the last 12 years.
