The Links at Groveport sits near the Little Walnut Creek which has flooded before. But it has never seen four inches in an hour.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning at 7 p.m. on Saturday in effect until 10 p.m. for Armstrong, Indiana and Westmoreland counties.

Multiple people were stranded overnight at the Links at Groveport golf course after flash flooding late Saturday night submerged dozens of cars under water. A large system of thunderstorms that brought heavy rainfall to central Ohio prompted the National Weather Service to issue flash flood warnings.

A flash flood warning was released by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 3 p.m. EDT in effect until 6 p.m. EDT for Alpena and Presque Isle counties.

Severe storms moving into the Chicago area are bringing dangerous flash flood threats on Friday afternoon. There is a flash flood warning in effect for Cook and DuPage counties until 2:45 p.m. A ground stop has been issued at O'Hare Airport as storms move into the area.

The National Weather Service released a flash flood warning at 8:38 a.m. on Friday in effect until 11:30 a.m. for Greene County.

The warning was issued for Leavenworth County. "The heavy rain has ended. Flash Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures," according to the National Weather Service. The warning is in effect until 8:30 a.m.

A flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service in Denver at 1:23 p.m. on Thursday, July 24. This warning applies to Larimer County.
