Two people were stabbed at Dupont Circle Park during Pride festivities on Saturday and another was shot as the crowds dispersed, a D.C. police spokesperson said. All three victims were males, and police declined to specify their ages.

Dupont Circle will be open to visitors the weekend of the WorldPride D.C. parade after all. It’s the latest update in a weeklong back-and-forth over whether the historic neighborhood would be open for Pride Month’s biggest weekend in the District.

City authorities canceled an initial request to block off the site, an L.G.B.T.Q. gathering spot in Washington, D.C. But the National Park Service opted to close it.
