COPENHAGEN, Jan 28 (Reuters) - Talks between the United States, Greenland and Denmark began on Wednesday, the Danish foreign ministry said, as the three parties seek to resolve a diplomatic crisis over President Donald Trump's threats against the Arctic territory.
"All the United States is asking for is a place called Greenland, where we already had it as a trustee, but respectfully returned it back to Denmark not long ago," Trump said.
Denmark's prime minister said she won't negotiate her nation's sovereignty after President Donald Trump said a "framework" on a Greenland deal was reached.
