Yeva Smilianska, 24, is accused of reckless vehicular homicide in the death of Boulder cyclist Magnus White, a rising star who had been scheduled to race on the U.S. national team. He was fatally struck on Colo. 119, also known as the Diagonal Highway, in 2023.

Jury selection was scheduled to begin Monday morning for the suspect driver accused of striking and killing Colorado teen cyclist Magnus White near his home in Boulder.

A Boulder County jury heard from eyewitnesses Tuesday in the trial of a woman accused of fatally hitting a 17-year-old cyclist on the Diagonal Highway in July 2023.
