The two losses officially mark the end of the 2025 season for Michigan State, that saw the Spartans go 28-27, a game above the .500 threshold. It is only the second time in the last seven years that the Spartans have finished above that .500 mark.

Michigan’s baseball team dropped another nailbiter in the Big Ten Tournament on Thursday. The seventh-seeded Wolverines led No. 2 seed UCLA late but fell 7-5 after allowing three runs in the bottom of the eighth.

In what was essentially an end-of-season exhibition game, the Michigan Wolverines lost in the Big Ten baseball tournament to the UCLA Bruins.
