The last person authorities believe may have seen Sudiksha Konanki, the 20-year-old University of Pittsburgh student who vanished while on a spring break trip in the Dominican Republic, was back on the beach — this time with investigators.

New information has revealed that other people were on the beach when US college student Sudiksha Konanki went missing in the Dominican Republic, law enforcement officials assisting with the investigation told CNN,

Joshua Riibe is believed to be the last person to have seen University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki before she went missing nearly 10 days ago.

An American linked to the disappearance of a University of Pittsburgh student was spotted by NBC News with investigators, his father and his attorney on a beach in Punta Cana early Sunday. Joshua Riibe was seen pointing toward the sea while a group of security officials kept people away from the area.

Joshua Riibe was the last person seen with University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki before she went missing while in the Dominican Republic. His attorney said his passport has been confiscated by Dominican authorities and he is confined to a hotel.

Joshua Riibe might have been the last person to see Sudiksha Konanki, a 20-year-old junior who went to Punta Cana on March 3.

Recalling the incident, Riibe informed Dominican authorities he was startled to learn about her disappearance. Both Konanki and Riibua had last travelled to the sea. According to US authorities, it is a missing person's case than criminal matter.
