In addition to legislation addressing the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs' stadiums, the special session will also focus on tornado relief for St. Louis and several projects that failed to get funded at the last minute.

Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe on Tuesday called state lawmakers into a special session to pass a stadium funding plan for the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals after legislators failed to approve the plan in the final hours of the legislative session.

The Missouri General Assembly will return to work Monday with questions about whether partisan feuding in the state Senate can be set aside to address the special session agenda.
