Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane first broke the news of his ALS diagnosis back in April, and has detailed how he is coping with the health condition.

Actor Eric Dane, best known for playing Dr. Mark "McSteamy" Sloan in Grey's Anatomy, is opening up about his battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) disease, revealing in a recent interview that he has lost control of his right arm.

Nevertheless, Dane remains hopeful. “I’m fighting as much as I can,” Dane said. “There’s so much about it that’s out of my control.” Later, he added, “In my heart I don’t feel like this is the end of me.”
