Five duck hunters were out on the White River on Saturday, Jan. 24, ahead of the winter storm, when their boat froze into the water. Indiana DNR rescued the hunters and returned them to shore.
According to the Coast Guard, the hunters were stranded in severe weather conditions after their boat ran aground.
