Despite early issues with PC performance, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers has retained fairly high concurrent player numbers on Steam. It reached a 24-hour peak of over 92,300 players in the last day. And that doesn’t account for console players enjoying the game on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Patch 1.3 landed two days after launch, targeting the worst of the game’s technical flaws. Leenzee introduced improvements to VRAM usage, texture memory handling, and supersampling resolution, all designed to help lower-end systems run the game more smoothly and reduce frame drops and crashes.

While Leenzee's debut game, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, appears to have sound gameplay mechanics, its release has been marred by performance issues so severe that its rating plummeted to a "Mostly Negative" rating on Steam.
