An updated report from the National Weather Service was issued on Friday at 6:27 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 7:15 p.m. The alert is for Clay, Clinton, Caldwell and Ray counties.

We’ll see scattered showers and storms this morning in the Quad Cities. And things could get a little bumpy Friday evening as well! There’s a chance for more strong to severe storms on Friday. The Storm Prediction Center has us under a slight risk for additional severe storms Friday late afternoon and evening.
