Tennessee and Auburn cleared the benches on Sunday during a heated exchange between players. The Tennessee Volunteers hosted the Auburn Tigers for a massive conference series this weekend as both teams rank inside of the top 10.

The No. 11 Auburn Tigers entered this weekend's series with No. 6 Tennessee needing to make a statement in order to gain ground in the SEC standings as well as the postseason forecast. The Tigers did just that on Sunday by claiming another critical road series at Lindsey Nelson Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The Tigers won the series over Tennessee, taking games one and three against the No. 12 Volunteers. Each of the wins were relatively lopsided too, and the one loss came in extra innings after the contest had to be suspended and resumed the next day.
