The 2025 NBA draft lottery results have been revealed. Despite being in Round 2 of the NBA playoffs, the Oklahoma City Thunder had an interest in the results. They owned the Philadelphia 76ers ' top-six protected pick.

They can grin and laugh and embrace now that the results of Monday’s NBA draft lottery are finalized. The Sixers will select third in June‘s draft. They had the fifth-best odds of securing a pick in the top three — a 31.

While the Thunder did not receive the 76ers pick during the draft lottery, they still own the 15th, 24th and either the 44th or 45th pick in the upcoming 2025 draft. Because of this, Oklahoma City will have another opportunity to add more young talent to their team next season to make another deep playoff run.
