In addition to these new additions, Sony announced two classic Resident Evil games for the Classics Catalog. Available to PS Plus Deluxe/Premium subscribers in August are Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. These classics will be available on both PS4 and PS5 platforms.

PlayStation Plus Game Catalog titles for August have been revealed. This month's lineup is led by Mortal Kombat 1. The fighting title resets the Mortal Kombat universe with a new timeline following the events of Mortal Kombat 11.
Ed Boon, the co-creator of the Mortal Combat series has revealed that Mortal Kombat 1 has now sold over 6.2 million copies.
The Mortal Kombat 1 DLC characters include three returning fighters; Cyrax, Sektor, and Noob Saibot, and three crossovers; Ghostface, Conan the Barbarian, and T-1000.
