"Shot clock violation, would have been a second one but Courtney (Williams) had to throw one in, needed to make a three," Reeve said. "Offensively, we just didn't rise up to the physicality that Phoenix played with or loading in the paint and we just didn't have enough help."
The Phoenix Mercury will be back in action as they take on one of their toughest opponents. They are taking on the Minnesota Lynx.
The Phoenix Mercury are waiving guard Kiana Williams, the team announced Thursday. Williams appeared in four games (3-1) for Phoenix this season, averaging 5.3 points on 60% shooting and 42.9% from long range. She added 1.3 rebounds and one assist per game.
