Hollywood legend and Trump ally Jon Voight may be behind the 100% tariffs that shook the movie industry after being announced Monday.

The president initially called for a 100% tariff on films produced outside the U.S. after claiming foreign incentives for U.S. filmmakers a “National Security threat.”

"The President loves the entertainment business and this country, and he will help us make Hollywood great again," Voight said in a statement.
