Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb announced how Today will revamp the fourth hour following Hoda’s retirement in January.

Hoda Kotb’s replacement on the Today show was announced to be Craig Melvin, but what does that mean for the fourth hour’s Today With Hoda and Jenna? Kotb has been hosting Today’s fourth hour with Jenna Bush Hager since 2019.

And Jenna Bush Hager is getting a new show and co-host as a result. Kotb, 60, announced she would be stepping away from the “Today” show on Sept. 26. In the weeks since, fans have been wondering who the network would choose to replace her.

Hoda Kotb knows whom she wants to replace her on the “Today” show. The morning show host, 60, spoke about her successor in a new interview with E! News. “The person who I want is someone who has beautiful chemistry with Jenna [Bush Hager],” Kotb told the outlet on Oct. 25, referring to her co-anchor on the fourth hour of “Today.”

On Thursday morning it was confirmed that Jenna, 42, will continue to host the fourth hour in 2025 with 'a rotating cast of fill-in co-hosts' after Hoda, 60, films her final show on January 10.

Hoda Kotb's official replacement for Today With Hoda & Jenna has not officially been named. In addition to helming the early news broadcast of Today, Kotb, 60, also leads the fourth-hour show with Jenna Bush Hager.
