WASHINGTON (7News) — It appears Washington Nationals General Manager Mike Rizzo isn’t looking to replace manager Dave Martinez anytime soon. During his weekly radio appearance Wednesday with the Sports Junkies on 106.7 the Fan, Rizzo said Martinez “still has the pulse of the clubhouse” amid a 10-game losing streak.

There are growing calls for the Washington Nationals to fire manager Dave Martinez. Martinez, who has been the Washington Nationals manager since 2018, led the franchise to its first-ever World Series championship in 2019.
