U.S. District Judge Deborah Boardman said no court in the country has endorsed the Trump administration’s interpretation of the 14th Amendment.

The nationwide injunction, from a Maryland case, is more permanent than last month’s restraining order from a judge in Seattle.

The ruling puts a hold on Trump's executive order until the legal process plays out, which could take months or even years.
