The college football regular season is complete.. The College Football Playoff field will be announced Sunday, Dec. 7. And yet after 15 weeks of play, there is still some mystery about which 12 teams will be part of the bracket.

A couple who had been married for more than 49 years died hours apart Saturday in Dothan. Betty Jean Joiner Cain, 78, and her husband Glenn Franklin Cain, 74, died at Southeast Medical Center. According to an obituary, Betty died suddenly, while Glenn passed on after a short illness. The two were married in October 1976.
