López update Pablo López is still likely the Twins starter who is farthest away from a return to action, but the club is encouraged by his progress. López is rehabbing from a strained teres major muscle in his right shoulder, and Paparesta said that the inflammation is out of the area and that the muscle strain itself is recovering well.

The Minnesota Twins announced have placed right-handed pitcher Bailey Ober on the 15-day Injured List with a left hip impingement. The move is retroactive to June 29. Ober has made 17 starts for the Twins this season,
