The popular, highest continuous paved road in North America has opened for the summer season.

Trail Ridge Road Rocky Mountain National Park The popular route for tourists closed last Oct. 18. Too much snow prevented road crews from plowing all the snow and ice by Memorial Day weekend.

Trail Ridge Road is open for 2025, but weather conditions could temporarily close it. Also, night closures are still planned.
