The Red Sox have a chance to break out the brooms for just the second time this season, as Boston can sweep the Yankees out of Fenway Park in Sunday’s series finale. The Red Sox last swept an opponent at the start of April, taking all three games from the Cardinals in the third series of the season.

Brayan Bello struck out eight over seven innings, Rafael Devers homered and Boston Red Sox beat the New York Yankees 2-0 for a three-game sweep that extended their winning streak to five.

The win arrived in Boston's first game since the stunning trade of All-Star slugger Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants. Starting pitcher Lucas Giolito was credited with the win after throwing six shutout innings.
