The second round of the 2025 NBA playoffs has begun, as eight teams look to take another step closer to a title. All four rounds of the NBA playoffs are best-of-seven, and teams are not reseeded after each round.

The Knicks blew out the Boston Celtics to secure a 4-2 series win over the reigning NBA champion. New York had the result wrapped up by halftime after it won the second quarter by 21 points. Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns and Co. will now face the Indiana Pacers for a spot in the 2025 NBA Finals.

Sixteen teams in total make the NBA playoffs, eight teams from both the Eastern and Western Conference. The top six seeds in each conference advance based on the regular season record. The final two seeds in each conference are determined by the NBA Play-In Tournament.
