Authorities are investigating an unpermitted boarding home in southwest Harris County, the sheriff says. According to the sheriff, the investigation is underway in the 13000 block of Bacard Lane, in a neighborhood near Bissonnet Street and Synott Road. The sheriff says several people were in the home, including two who are bedridden.
