Vice President JD Vance will visit the Texas-Mexico border later this week. According to the vice president's spokesperson, Vance will visit Eagle Pass on Wednesday.

Vice President JD Vance is visiting Eagle Pass, Texas, to tour facilities connected to President Trump's immigration crackdown at the U.S.-Mexico border. CBS News' Camilo Montoya-Galvez reports.

He was expected to get an aerial tour of the border city, visit an immigration processing center and deliver remarks on the Trump administration's immigration enforcement policies in Shelby Park, a public park on the banks of the Rio Grande seized by the State of Texas.

Vice President Vance is leading a high-level White House delegation to Texas Wednesday to highlight the administration's efforts to secure the southern border.
