For the majority of this season, Tyrese Maxey has been leading the charge for the Philadelphia 76ers. Along with doing what he can on the court, the former All-Star is attempting to uplift his teammates behind the scenes as well.

The Sixers’ effort was abysmal to start the game before a late comeback attempt was thwarted by buzzer-beating offensive rebound.
ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Sunday evening that Embiid is “considering alternative options, such as surgery, for his injured left knee.” Embiid has been receiving regular injections in his knee in an attempt to remain on the court, but he’s still far from 100%.

The Sixers closed their pre-All-Star break schedule with games against two teams they just needed to beat: the Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets. Instead, they cratered. Colin Ward-Henninger writes:
Tyrese Maxey played very poorly in the 76ers' loss to the Raptors. Nick Nurse wonders if he's dealing with an injury.
The more the 76ers struggle, the likelier it becomes that the team's best chance is to build around the star guard.
