The 76ers and Joel Embiid are consulting doctors and considering alternative options, such as surgery, to treat his injured knee, sources told ESPN.

Embiid has played in 19 games on the season and has been listed as questionable for Monday's big matchup against the Chicago Bulls. The Sixers currently trail the Bulls by only 1.5 games for the final play-in spot in the East so Philadelphia needs to get this one at home.

Shams Charania of ESPN is reporting that Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers are looking at options to deal with the former's injuries. Embiid is struggling with a knee injury he sustained last year.
