After two straight away games, Kentucky Women’s Basketball finally made it back to Memorial Coliseum, and rewarded BBN with a dominating 80-61 win over Auburn. On Sunday, the ‘Cats won their eighth straight matchup and remain undefeated in Memorial Coliseum after a 19-point victory over the 9-8 (0-4 SEC) Auburn Tigers.

Amoore and sophomore center Clara Strack combined for 23 of Kentucky’s 36 points before halftime. Junior forward Teonni Key, who had nine at the break, was the only other Wildcat with more than three points; graduate guard Dazia Lawrence (three points) and junior guard Saniah Tyler (one) were the only other Wildcats to get on the scoreboard.
Kentucky (15-1, 4-0 Southeastern Conference) used its fast break offense to score easy buckets on several occasions on Sunday. In fact, the Cats had 18 fast break points, compared to just one for Auburn.

Auburn fought foul trouble with three starters on the bench for much of the second quarter, and Kentucky took advantage, outscoring the Tigers 20-14 to extend their lead to 36-25 at the half.
