A technician will more than likely need to take off the door frame and check the motor and the wiring. Benet says one of the biggest problems he sees is when the window regulator and cable come apart.

You may notice that one window is slower than others, or has a less than smooth operation as it goes down or up. The usual cause is that the motor for the regulator is old and is simply wearing out.
