Router in AP mode. Not designed to talk to the other AP for hand off. Maybe there was some upgrade or code in there that allows for it. But it's definitely not as good as a dedicated structured ...
It did not have AP mode or bridge mode, but was probably capable of it via cfw. Anyway, would appreciate the help. Price range for one main router is $200, and maybe $100 for a bridge/repeater.
Repeater bridge mode uses the wireless frequency for communication with another access point and allows wireless clients to connect. This mode is available on virtually all third-party firmware.
