Fire breaks out on Sunset Strip in West Hollywood as winds batter SoCal
The fire was reported just before 10:10 a.m. near Sunset and La Cienega boulevards. Sunset Blvd. was closed from Queens Road to Hayvenhurst Drive for the firefight. The fire's forward progress was stopped at 10:51 a.m.

Firefighters were first dispatched to a structure fire at 10:11 a.m. on the 8400 block of West Sunset Boulevard, near Kings Road, Los Angeles County Fire Department spokeswoman Kaitlyn Aldana told City News Service. Structure-protection units were staged in the area while other firefighters worked on the brush fire.
