Joseph DeFeudis, of Pelham, N.H. won $25,000 a year for life during a “ Lucky for Life ” drawing held on Nov. 16, 2024. The first five numbers on DeFeudis’ ticket matched the drawn numbers. He bought his winning ticket Ted’s Stateline Mobil at 551 Broadway in Methuen.

That's a real life scenario for one lucky lottery player in Edgewood, but apparently they don't know it yet, because the prize remains unclaimed as of Monday morning.

The lucky player matched all five numbers in the drawing Sunday, Jan. 12, to win the top prize of $444,446, lottery officials said. The player purchased the winning ticket at a Citgo Mart in Morrow, beating odds of 1 in 850,
