Apple announced Liquid Glass on Monday for all of its devices at WWDC 2025. Perhaps the most noticeable thing about it is that app icons, tab bars, and even the text magnifier you’ll see when you hover over words feel, well, liquid-y and glassy.

Apple announced new artificial intelligence features at the Worldwide Developers Conference keynote June 9. The company launched testing versions of live translation, visual search and a workout assistant. Apple Intelligence will also be a part of the Reminder, Messages and Apple Wallet apps.

Apple said it's bringing Visual Intelligence, its AI-powered image analysis tech, to the iPhone screen in iOS 26.

If you’ve ever tried to set a custom ringtone for one of your contacts on your iPhone, you know that it’s a laborious process. Users need to either connect their iPhone to a Mac to import third-party ringtones or edit the track using GarageBand. Both routes are unnecessarily complex, and many users will appreciate Apple simplifying the ordeal.

I actually like most of them. Fine, the new 'Liquid Glass' design language is arguably in a similar vein to Windows Vista, but it's nice to see iOS get a bit of a refresh, as it's felt a little stale for a while now.
