Hunter Goodman was announced as the Colorado Rockies’ lone All-Star representative. RHP Jake Bird was the other possible candidate for the Rockies, but he joined the list of snubbed Rockies’ relievers.

The Colorado Rockies are one of four teams who have won more games on the road than they have at home joining the Washington Nations, the Cleveland Guardians, and the Athletics.

In the offseason, the Rockies told Hunter Goodman to focus on being a catcher in 2025. The move has paid off with Goodman’s first-ever trip to the MLB All-Star Game.

Goodman has never met Uggla. But Goodman, who attended Arlington High School, got to showcase his ascending talent at the MLB All-Star game at Truist Park in Atlanta on July 15. The Rockies catcher was Colorado's representative at the game and flew out in his lone at-bat.
