In the short time since actor Gene Hackman’s passing, talk surrounding the matter has changed rather drastically. Hours after the initial reports seemed to rule out foul play, an update on Hackman’s death and that of his wife Betsy Arakawa had ruled the circumstances suspicious enough to warrant further investigation.

The Santa Fe Film Commission remembered Gene Hackman and Betsy Arakawa at a press conference Friday afternoon.
