Former Houston Astros manager Dusty Baker will manage Team Nicaragua in next year's World Baseball Classic, it was announced Monday.

Nicaragua on Monday named Dusty Baker, a World Series champion, three-time manager of the year and the eighth-winningest manager in major league history, to manage the team in next year's World Baseball Classic.

Dusty Baker will manage Nicaragua at the 2026 World Baseball Classic, the Nicaragua national baseball team announced on Monday. Baker, 76, is the eighth-winningest manager in MLB history and one of just 13 managers with over 2,
