A sheriff called it the worst child abuse case he’d seen in his 33-year career. Victims as young as 3 are now in state care and getting medical, emotional and psychological support.

Police said seven people have been arrested so far, but more are expected in connection to an alleged child sex trafficking ring in Alabama.

At least 10 children were trafficked for sex acts and held in an underground storm shelter in rural Alabama, a sheriff said.
