Milwaukee police fatally shot Joshua John Wippert, 38, during a vehicle chase following a traffic stop. Wippert, armed and non-compliant, later died; officers are on administrative duty, pending investigation.
No arrests have been made and one person is dead following a shooting in Wisconsin early Sunday morning. According to a release from the Madison Police Department, officers responded at 3:32 a.m. to a home on the 400 block of Primrose Lane for reports of a shooting.

Sources: Police shooting on Milwaukee's northwest side
Milwaukee Police officers were involved in a shooting Tuesday night on the city's northwest side, three sources confirmed to 12 News. The shooting happened near 98th and Lisbon Streets. Two of the sources told 12 News the person officers shot is alive and conscious.
A shooting involving police took place near Brookfield at 11 pm EST on January 31. The suspect surrendered after being injured.
