Frigid temperatures will grip Northern Virginia ahead of a developing storm front that could bring "significant" snowfall to the state.
Governor Abigail Spanberger declared a state of emergency Thursday as a winter storm is forecast to affect most of Virginia starting Saturday and lasting through Monday morning.
Frigid temperatures along with snow and ice could hamper Staunton and Augusta County, according to the National Weather Service.
