The National Weather Service had confirmed a second tornado hit the Tri-State during Tuesday's storms.

Communities in New York and New Jersey are cleaning up after heavy rain, flash floods and confirmed tornadoes spawned from stormy weather Tuesday.

NEW YORK (WABC) -- New York City and most of the Tri-State are under a Tornado Watch until 9 p.m. as the area braces for more storms to hit Tuesday night.

Two confirmed tornadoes touched down in New Jersey and severe storms toppled trees and flooded streets in New York on Tuesday.

The greatest threat -- a level 3 out of 5 risk -- will span from northeastern Kentucky to New Jersey, including Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Philadelphia.
